This apartment is located in a quiet neighbourhood in the northern suburbs of Athens. The brief was to transform an empty flat with small kitchen and a corner fireplace, into a contemporary comfortable interior for a family, with a working space for two. A new minimal fireplace defined the living room area close to the windows, next to the dining room and the home office. The connection with the kitchen is through an internal window, that also maximizes natural light penetration. The clean geometric shapes and industrial elements are the key characteristics of this apartment, and all furniture were custom designed in order to make the best use of the spaces.
