The architectural design concerns the interior of a two-storey residence in Chalandri, Athens.
The brief requested the creation of an open-plan ground floor including the living room, open kitchen, dining area, and a guest wc, while the upper level accommodates two bedrooms and a master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and walk-in closet.
The aim was to combine functionality with an aesthetic of lightness, minimalism, and subtle luxury. At the entrance, a bespoke wardrobe element was designed, which also functions as a partition, creating a small hall between the wc and the main living area.
A custom-designed fireplace was created as the focal point of the house, in direct dialogue with the kitchen, which sets the tone for the overall interior. The selected materials include natural oak surfaces, soft grey lacquer, marble, and black granite. Αll wooden furniture pieces were custom-designed specifically for the residence.
