The apartment is located in a quiet neighborhood of Melissia. The concept focused on reconfiguring the living and dining areas, the kitchen, and the bathrooms, making the apartment more functional and practical for the family.

Taking into consideration their needs for comfort, privacy when working from home, and room for children’s play, an open-plan layout was introduced to address these requirements.

Some interior walls were demolished to reorganize the functions of the home. The existing kitchen was completely removed and replaced with a new open – plan one, offering increased storage and food preparation surfaces.

The dining area, now integrated into the kitchen, has regained its everyday functionality. The living room was placed opposite the fireplace, with a clear view of all adjacent spaces. A separate office area was added with two workstations, offering privacy for focused work or study.

Special attention was given to the quality of construction materials, the new flooring, and the bathroom finishes, which feature high-quality tiles. The old fireplace was completely removed and replaced with a new, linear one with a contemporary polished-cement finish.

Custom-made oak and lacquer furniture was designed for the kitchen, office, and living room. The color palette was kept in shades of white and grey, complemented with turquoise details in the bathroom and deep blue accents in the office.
